entry no.001
- I apologize for my late entry into our blog.
- Life, and death, has a way of taking over.
- Randomness seems to be everywhere, and even as I write these words, I wonder if I am the one writing, if I am ever in control.
- When my dad died on April 1st of this year, understanding, organizing, compiling and searching through his affairs became my sole occupation. In his many folders and filing cabinets, I found old resumes and letters that he wrote in Peru back in the 1960s.
- The manner in which his resumes were laid out were intrinsically linked to the technology that he had access to: a typewriter.
- But now, I am writing this using very sophisticated technology, but yet am completely informed and inspired by the old font, spacing, and indentations, thus: courier new.
