The greenhouse house and the beach: performative explorations and other drifts in translation.

FR. La maison. Une serre en forme de maison évoque la famille. [Une interprétation à partir de l'anxiété, de la peur que quelque chose arrive]. Une première lecture est celle d’une maison qui est dangereuse. Mais elle n’est pas vraiment une maison, c’est une serre. Elle laisse passer la lumière et garde la chaleur, comme le ferait la famille. Le jour, sa chaleur étouffe. Si nous restons trop longtemps, nous pouvons tomber malade. La structure qui soutient ses parois est en métal. Ses extrémités ne sont pas polies. Elles peuvent nous blesser en le caressant sans méfiance. C’est mieux de ne pas s’approcher des parois. Ces murs transparents, mais rigides risquent de nous faire de nouvelles blessures. 

Le toucher peut aussi être bruyant. Avec le temps, une structure peut devenir fragile et finir par casser. Vous devez vous sauver avant que cela ne vous tombe dessus.

EN. The House. A house-shaped greenhouse evokes family. [An interpretation based on anxiety, fear that something will happen]. A first reading is that of a house that is dangerous. But it's not really a house, it's a greenhouse. It lets the light in and keeps the heat, just like family would do. During the day, its heat is stifling. If we stay too long, we can get sick. The structure that supports its walls is made of metal. Its ends are not polished. They can hurt us by caressing it unsuspectingly. It's best not to go near the walls. These transparent, but rigid walls risk causing us new injuries.

Touch can also be noisy. Over time, a structure can become fragile and eventually break. You have to save yourself before it hits you.
